Meet Our Community Impact Partner: Good Samaritan Food Pantry

Founded in 1981 by the Ross County Ministerial Association, the Good Samaritan Network of Ross County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing emergency assistance—at no cost—to residents in urgent need. Through the provision of food, goods, and critical services, the organization ensures that no one in Ross County goes hungry.

Operating with a dedicated team of part-time staff and passionate volunteers, the Network also collaborates with a robust referral partner network including churches, social service agencies, and other community organizations to extend its reach and impact.

Financial support for the Good Samaritan Network comes from local churches, individual and corporate donors, and small local or private grants. Pantry stock is maintained through partnerships with Mid-Ohio Food Bank, community food drives, individual donations, and contributions from both national and local food retailers.

Together, with the support of the community, the Good Samaritan Network continues to serve as a vital resource for those facing food insecurity and emergency needs throughout Ross County.
