Superintendent of Zane Trace Local Schools
Ty Wertman is the Superintendent of Zane Trace Local Schools and is entering his 18th year with the district. A lifelong educator, Ty began his career as a high school social studies teacher before transitioning into roles as a school counselor and later, high school principal.
A lifelong resident of Ross County, Ty is deeply committed to addressing the social and emotional needs of the students and families he serves. His dedication to community well-being aligns closely with the mission of United Way, and he is excited to help make a positive impact across the county through this role on the Board of Trustees.
